Time is dead and meaning has no meaning with the latest episode of the Disney show Gravity Falls. Last monday's release of "Weirdmageddon" initiated what can only be called pure chaos.

The episode begins with the series's main villain, chaos god Bill Cipher, and his final escape from imprisonment in what could only be described as a nightmare realm. Thne sky quite literally breaks open, and the diety assumes physical form. Bill immediately establishes his dominion, in a raipidly escalation series of events that transforms the entire landscape from a regular town to an apocaliptic world in a shockingly short amount of time. The show takes an extremely dark twist, involving multiple on-screen deaths and one case of mutilation. The iconic journals that prevailed throughout the series were destroyed, and with no hope of defeating Bill, The main character Dipper teams up with his remaining friends in an effort to save his sister, who for some reason has been imprisoned in a large chained bubble that prevails over the landscape.
Overall, the episode was fantastic. It retained the same sardonic humour that the rest of the series has, in addition to the more emotionally tugging aspects. The color scheme and animation was well used, keeping a dramatic setting. Needless to say, I believe the entire fandom is anxious for the second part.
